Welcome to Akinorun Grammar School

Ikirun is one of the major towns in Osun State.  The Introduction of Education in the town could be dated to the Second half of the twenty-eth century when Christianity was Introduced to the place by the Church Missionary Society (C.M.S.). Being the first denomination in the town, they established the first school, i.e. C.M.S. Primary School.
     Another denomination which followed i.e. African Church Mission established Holy Trinity African Church Primary School, St. Saviour African Church primary School and All Saints African Church Primary School.  The African Church Went further to establish African Church Teacher Training College about 1953 and African church Secondary Modern School was established in 1957.
